There is no Optional Limited Warranty available for Motor Homes, Commercial Vehicles used off highway, Emergency Service, Propane, Industrial, Stationary, or Marine Applications.
TOWING up to a maximum of $100.00 during the duration of this warranty.

*Labor is paid only when failure is due to defective workmanship or materials furnished by The Company.

LIMITED WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
This Is your Optional Limited Warranty. Please read It carefully with special attention to the exclusions and the responsibilities you must meet to receive any benefits under this Limited Nationwide Warranty.

THE AGREEMENT:
The Optional Limited Warranty consists of this Form, the Limited Nationwide Warranty Form, and the completed and signed Limited Warranty Registration Form.

OUR PROMISE TO YOU:
We warrant, during the Term of this Limited Warranty, that we, in the event that any part of the Engine Assembly fails because of detective material or workmanship supplied by us, shall arrange for the performance of all covered repairs under this Limited Warranty. We reserve the right to use qualified reconditioned or serviceable used replacement parts. Routine Maintenance and adjustment services such as lubrications, oil changes, tune-ups, filters, etc., are not covered under this Limited Warranty.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY:
ENGINE - All internal engine parts including: pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings, timing belt, chain or timing gears, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, guides, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms, hydraulic lifters and rocker arm shafts. The Engine Block and Cylinder Heads are also covered if the Mechanical Failure was caused by the above listed parts. (Does not include any part other than what is supplied in The Company long block assembly).

Seals and Gaskets are not covered except when required in connection with the replacement of the above specified parts.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES TO US:
To obtain the benefits provided under this Limited Warranty, it is your responsibility to:

1. Insure The Company Installation Instructions and Engine Support System Check List in the Owners Manual are followed.
2. Have the vehicle checked to diagnose the status of the engine support system (computer, fuel Injection, sensors, etc.) immediately after installation to certify it is in proper working condition, and send the printout to The Company along with the warranty registration.
3. Perform maintenance in accordance with the schedule in the Owners Manual:
4. Show PROOF (work orders authorizing and describing type of maintenance work done) each time you request benefits under this Limited Warranty.
5. Call The Company Customer Service at 1-800-873-1818 before proceeding with any engine repair work.

FAILURE TO PERFORM ANY OF THE ABOVE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL VOID WARRANTY COVERAGE.

EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY COVERAGE

Remanufacturer does not warrant against and/or will not pay for or provide, (but not limited to):
(1) Overheating (Heat tab activated, distorted, melted or removed will void this warranty);
(2) Failure due to improper installation, maintenance neglect, abuse, abnormal operations, or accident;
(3) Failures due to components not furnished with an engine remanufactured by us or otherwise approved by us for installation, or malfunction of or disconnected engine support system items, or components unsuitable for use with a warranted engine or part;
(4) Internal Engine Damage due to foreign material, or failure because of operations causing greater than normal wear, or from use of an engine for purposes other than those for which it was originally intended by the manufacturer;
(5) Damage from detonation/pre-ignition, thermal expansion, or foreign material In the combustion chamber;
(6) Valve adjustments, including jet valves;
(7) Crankshaft thrust surface worn due to excessive external pressure;
(8) Replacement labor (except as net forth herein), gaskets, shop supplies, or EPA charges or other items associated with but not including warranted engines and parts;
(9) Vehicle rental, or transportation charges, or any other losses incurred in the operation of warranted engines or parts, or incurred due to the failure of warranted engines or parts;
(1O) Bad gas (when gasoline is left in the tank of an idle vehicle for a time long enough to lose its original qualities);
(11) The Company will not be liable for wrong installations due to catalog information, manufacturer changes or engines ordered in error, or repair in vehicles which the odometer is not operational;
(12) Failure due to old oil-cooler and all external lines not being replaced;
(13) Problems due to an engine change (type for type) from the original application;
(14) No labor will be paid for units installed by persons that are not ASE Engine Certified or equivalent certified rating, and in a facility open to the general public for business with a valid business license;
(15) Use of any parts not installed by us or not of original equipment application such as performance or special camshafts, carburetion, manifolds, tires not of OEM specifications, etc. will void the warranty;
(16) Gaskets and components not installed by the factory are the responsibility of the installer and are not covered under warranty;
(17) Failures caused from engine being operated with any fuel other than gasoline (propane, LPG and etc.), or with turbochargers accept when specified by The Company for use with other fuels or turbochargers.
(18) Any repair prior to having authorization from The Company Customer Service Department in Phoenix, AZ.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS
Remanufacturers liabilities are limited solely and exclusively to repair or replacement of engine or parts according to the terms of this warranty alone and do not include liability for any incidental, consequential damages, lost wages or time, or other damages of any kind whatsoever, whether any claim is based upon theories of contract negligence or tort.
The warranty term commences on the "Date of Installation", which is the date on which the remanufactured engine is first installed in, or attached to, or affixed to the vehicle from which it is to be operated by the first buyer for use. Replacement of a warranted engine or part does not extend the warranty term.
This warranty may be distributed in a state(s) which may not allow the limitation or exclusion of some warranties or of incidental or consequential damages. In the event that any provision of this warranty should be or become invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms and conditions hereof shall remain in full force and effect.
This optional limited warranty is transferable provided the "Certificate of Installation" and the "Optional Remanufactured Engine Protection Plan Registration" was received by The Company fully completed within 7 days of installation and we receive written notification of the change of vehicle ownership and $50.00, for transfer fee.

THIS IS THE COMPLETE OPTIONAL WARRANTY AND NO ONE IS AUTHORIZED TO EXTEND OR ALTER THIS WARRANTY ON OUR BEHALF.
