The Company will on occasion allow exceptions to this policy with prior approval. Exceptions will be subject to factory inspection and will be credited based on a core purchase price determined by The Company. Core will be returned freight collect if customer requests it back.

ALL CORES MUST BE RETURNED WITH AN The Company CORE TAG.

JUNK YARD AND EXTREMELY RUSTED CORES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CORE CREDIT.

NOTE: Please be aware that many later model engine blocks and cylinder heads may not be acceptable for core credit because they cannot be rebuilt due to the thin wall castings used. Castings are more likely to crack and cylinder wall thinness will not allow boring beyond .030 or .040.

Engines:
When, after inspection, an engine block is determined acceptable, core credit will be issued. Any necessary charges for labor or junk and missing components (i.e., sleeving a cylinder or replacing a rod) will be based on current The Company prices and deducted from the credit.

When, after inspection, an engine block must be junked, a salvage credit of 20% of core charge will be allowed providing that the entire core has been returned.

Junk cores will be held for 30 days from the date returned to The Company Phoenix and will be scrapped at that time unless notice is received. Cores must be returned within 90 days of purchase for full credit.

Engine cores returned without all original main caps bolted to the block are not acceptable.

Custom Build Engines:
Customer core rebuilds are subject to inspection. If unit is damaged or junk there will be additional charges to repair or replace. Custom Build units should be less all pans, covers, manifolds, accessories, and accessory brackets. The Company is not responsible for any accessory item.
